If you are doing a home design renovation project, it’s very common that you would want to update things like your appliances and your furniture in the room that you are renovating.

If you’ve paid good money for a custom piece like a curved sofa, and you are paying more money to replace it.  It makes perfect sense to get at least some money back on the original sofa. You can sell it very easy through places like Ebay, Gum Tree or Craig’s list.

Used Living room Furniture unless it been badly damaged and is at the stage of need to be thrown out, can be re purposed with ease.  Either selling it or donating to charity are great ideas.  If the living room furniture is being replaced, you can do things like get the old furniture item recovered, then move it from the primary room into a secondary entertainment room

Your used living room furniture can also be donated to your kids if they are at the age of moving out so they can start they own life.  A decent piece of furniture will last for years, a lot of pieces come with a 10 year guarantee.

So if you are upgrading your furniture, think about what you can do with your old used living room furniture.  You don’t have to throw it out, you can give it its next life.
